Experimental Graphic Book Design

“You, Around the City” is an experimental graphic book by Tarek Atrissi Design, inspired by the city of Beirut in Lebanon. The book is a celebration of the beauty of the city despite the urban visual clutter that characterizes it.

The book consists of three chapters, each treated in a different graphic style. The first section relies more on photography that documents the chaotic yet beautiful details of the city. The second chapter focuses on a typographic language created from the streets and environmental graphics of Beirut. The third chapter is designed with a collage style of colorful and striking visual iconic elements of the city. “You, around the city” was published in a limited quantity as an experimental graphic book, and was featured in numerous design books and magazines around the world.
