La Libanesa – Gourmet Packaging Design
Tarek Atrissi Design developed the branding and packaging design system for La Libanesa, a gourmet Lebanese food brand conceived to introduce traditional delicacies to the European market. The brand’s name — a nod to its Lebanese founder and its Spanish launch — reflects the cross-cultural spirit of the concept, blending heritage with international appeal.
The project centered on creating a cohesive and elegant packaging system for a wide range of Lebanese products. These included traditional sweets such as baklava and barazek, presented in refined gift boxes, as well as iconic Lebanese beverages like sharab el ward (rose syrup) and sharab el zahr (orange blossom syrup), bottled in sleek, modern containers. Each element of the packaging was designed to evoke a sense of authenticity while remaining visually bold and contemporary.
The visual identity reinterprets Lebanese graphic traditions through a modern lens — using geometric forms, rich color palettes, and layered compositions that position the brand firmly in the gourmet segment. With its refined aesthetic and flexible packaging formats, La Libanesa presents Lebanese food culture in a way that is both rooted in tradition and ready for global tables.
